Photography has been a part of me for what seems like forever; I was always the girl in middle school who would take her little digital camera to every party/sleepover/dance/game/you name it. Now I still get to take my "big girl camera" to every party + dance - just on a slightly larger, and more important, scale.. if ya know what I mean!​​

My sophomore year of high school, I lost my dad to cancer. 
Losing him sparked a fire in me to become something more than just, "the girl who takes her camera everywhere."

It made me realize that, "holy shit, this isn't forever," and you truly only get one go around.
I want my photos to REALLY capture the people in them.
To give you the gift of looking at them, decades from now, and remembering the magic + feelings from that day.

I will be the one who gets that special photo of mom helping you into your dress, your dad trying his best to hold it together, the one who catches the tears in your partner's eyes when they see you for the first time, and most of all, I will  be the one who captures all of your moments, big + small, from one of your very best days.

My mission is to create photos that are FELT. Not just seen.
